Serving Thousand Oaks’ Hospice and Home Health Needs

We at Los Robles Healthcare have been in business since 2000, and we continue to provide Thousand Oaks residents, as well as residents of the surrounding communities, with both home health and hospice services.

Thousand Oaks lies in the Conejo Valley and prides itself on its numerous oak trees, stunning, rolling green hills, ample open space, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Shopping and dining options are also in plenty here, as are movie theaters and museums. There are several festivals held throughout the year including the annual Scandinavian Festival and the OakHeart Country Music Festival. Thousand Oaks is also only 45 miles from downtown Los Angeles and about an hour from Santa Barbara. This means that entertainment facilities such as Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Universal Studios are just an hour or an hour and a half drive away.

Hospitals in the area include Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, the largest hospital in eastern Ventura County and the most specialized heart center in the county.

Located in the northwestern part of Greater Los Angeles, Thousand Oaks is a charming city, named after the many oak trees found in the area. It is estimated that Thousand Oaks is home to 50-60,000 oak trees. With over 128,000 residents, as estimated in 2016, it is the second largest city in Ventura County and the 43rd largest in the state of California. Thousand Oaks has been ranked as one of the safest cities in the United States by the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports and by Trulia and NerdWallet as one of the wealthiest cities in the nation. In 2016, Niche, an American company that runs a ranking and review site, ranked Thousand Oaks as the second-safest city in the nation. Despite the difficulties of 2018, our community continues to pull together and provide a wonderful place to live for all residents.

Home Health and Hospice Offerings

As an agency well established here in the Thousand Oaks region, the obvious ties to both community and the healthcare institutions goes a long way in vetting the sort of quality service offerings that we provide.

Our home health services are ideal after hospitalization and are provided by a registered nurse, physical or occupational therapist, or other skilled medical professionals for patients who for one reason or another cannot leave their home and require part-time skilled care.

While our hospice care is for patients whose condition is such that a doctor would not be surprised if they died within the next six months. This doesn’t mean the patient is going to die in the next six months–it simply means that he or she has a condition that makes dying a realistic possibility. However, with hospice care, the patient lives comfortable and pain-free.

The following are just a handful of the tenets we apply to all of our service care offerings:
  • Quality Care both Clinically and In Care

  • An Integral Part of the Healthcare Community

  • A Devotion to Serving all Members of Our Community to the Fullest

Care for All Corners of the Community

With nearly 20 years of business building behind us, the ability to cover the needs of all patient types from all necks of Ventura County are very much within our reach.

“Los Robles Healthcare gave me highest quality of care that a person can hope for.”
